Safeguarding
Workshop participants are responsible for notifying Steph French Consulting Ltd (SFC), in advance of participation, of any physical or mental health issues, or other special needs, that might adversely affect their participation in the workshop, so that any risks can be evaluated. If you require further therapeutic support following the workshop, this is also your responsibility. SFC may be able to provide appropriate recommendations.
Workshop participation
In group workshops the responsibility rests with participants to decline any representation with which they are not comfortable, and to request to step out if any representation becomes overwhelming.
It is a condition of participation that participants do not join any session under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Confidentiality
Participants should ensure that they do not discuss the issues explored in the workshops in any way that could enable identification of participants.
Refunds
Booked sessions are non-refundable, once paid for, except if the session is cancelled due to SFC’s inability to hold the event (for example, because of illness), in which case ticket holders will be offered a choice between an alternate date or a full refund. Please contact us if you wish to request any exception to this policy.
Indemnification
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless SFC from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of the participant’s use of SFC’s services or deliverables, except to the extent caused by SFC's gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Professional Indemnity
In accordance with the disclosure requirements of the Provision of Services Regulations 2009, SFC’s professional indemnity insurer is Hiscox UK of 1 Great St Helen’s, London EC3A 6HX.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising under or related to this agreement shall be resolved through good faith negotiations between the parties. If the parties are unable to reach a resolution, the dispute shall be submitted to mediation in England, with each party bearing its own costs.
Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any legal action arising under or related to this agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts of England.
Waiver
The failure of either party to enforce any provision of this agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of such provision or the right to enforce it.
