Sensing Sense CIC - community ‘changemaking’
The healing power of relationships is perhaps the single greatest leverage point to improve societal outcomes.
Systemic family constellations explore the relationship between elements of a system (be it family, organisational or the wider community) to reveal hidden dynamics. The methodology can catalyse movement, resolve stuckness and support increased agency by:
Making visible our attachments to ways of doing and being and the unwritten rules by which we live
Surfacing origins of past traumas, and entanglements with previous generations
Identifying other hidden blockages to change within the system
Facilitating a sense of connection and belonging to a greater whole
Family constellations are currently available on a private basis, thus limiting their benefits to those with adequate financial resources. Sensing Sense CIC offers this work pro bono, or at subsidised rates, to marginalised groups who could not otherwise benefit from the healing potential of this work.
Issues explored in these family constellation circles might include:
the stories we inherited from our family
the loyalties generated by fears of not belonging
our inter-generational history
the relevance of place and the impact of migration
the role of both personal and collective trauma
Pilot circles have been running since late 2024 with a wider roll-out planned, subject to philanthropic support. There is an emphasis on marginalised communities although this is not be to the exclusion of any community wishing to participate.
