Our Relationship with Sustainability: the biggest blocker to change?
"There are no environmental problems, there are only environmental symptoms of human problems.” Robert Gilman
Do you feel guilty that sustainability doesn’t play a larger role in your life?
Is there a conflict between money and sustainability in your work?
Is your story about sustainability holding you back?
Our relationship with sustainability can be fraught with cognitive dissonance; there is often a conflict between what we want to do and what we feel we ought to do. In this workshop we will explore issues such as:
the stories we have inherited from our families
our loyalty to workplace values about sustainability
the conflict between money and sustainability in our work
the ‘best’ place from which we can make a difference
The experiential workshop will include opportunities for participants to map and explore their challenges in a systemic format. For more information on the methodology see this page.
